Beach wedding reception advice

Make sure that your invitation informs your guests on what to expect for your beach wedding reception. Say, a covered part of the beach with abonfire in the middle and the both of you in front of that bonfire. Let them know ifthis is an informal affair of sand and sea and barefoot activities that will be presented. What about the food? Will it be more on the roasted type of foods on the menu? Willit be more on fruits and bowls, and finger food? Or would it be a bread and pasta withfish on sauce type of food, which would mean- tables and chairs?
These are some stuff that you may need to let the guests know in advance. Why is itsuch a big deal? Well...you are having a beach wedding so naturally, it would besomething of a surprise on what you'll be having on your reception. Aside from thefood, you may need to be prepared on what you'll present, or the program that youwould have put together.
What is this program? This would be the part when your maid of honor or thegroomsman would tell your "love story" for everyone to know. This would the partwhere a little embarrassment would be injected...some funny anecdotes on how youboth got `hitched'.
How to save those hundreds of green ones for this beach wedding reception? So, as we have noted...once you have notified your guests on what to expect, how can we save on this reception.
For one, if you hold this reception on a public beach, then that is less cost for your venue. But then again, you may need to spend on refrigeration for fruits, should you serve this. Heating pans for food that may need heating before you serve the food. So this may be a little extra that you need to consider for this type of reception venue. If you hold it in a hotel that has a beach front, this could cost a bit more, compared toyour public beach, but then it will be more private. It is less hassle on your part aswell, since all you need to do is to choose the food from the hotel you have chosen.Another suggestion for a wedding beach reception is to hold it by the pool...that over looks the beach. Why would this cost less? The best time to hold your beach wedding would be towards dusk. So it would be appropriate to prepare finger foods, cocktails and roasted meat for your menu. This would, of course, be less compared to a heavy dinner type of food menu.
